Marleigh

Marleigh is a proposed development of 160 acres of Marshall owned land, north of Newmarket Road, Cambridge.

The outline planning application for Marleigh was submitted in December 2013, following a year of consultation with the community and other key stakeholders. Outline planning permission was granted in November 2016.

The masterplan envisages:

Up to 1,300 new homes
Public open space, including sports pitches, tennis courts and allotments
A new primary school, nursery and community facilities
A foodstore, replacement petrol filling station and other local shops
4 hectares of car dealerships
Improvements to Newmarket Road
